Rated 5 out of 5 by Coffeedrinker from Works great - easy to use! I opened the coffee grinder package and put the grinder aside as I didn't need it yet quite yet. I plugged it in and heard the motor working, so everything seemed fine. It is a simple unit, so I never expected to have to look in and see the blade spin. About a month later, I put in the beans and turned it on. The motor worked, but the grinder did not grind. Taking out the cup, I noticed there was nothing attached to the motor shaft that could turn the blade in the cup. I contacted KitchenAid and their customer service was wonderful. I explained I had thrown away the packaging and hadn't been able to use the grinder as it appeared a piece was missing. They sent me a new one and I returned the one I had in that new box. The new grinder works great. It is very easy to use, the bean cup comes out so I do not have to lift the entire unit to pour our the grinds, the stainless steel unit blends in well with the our kitchen, and the customer service could not be more accommodating. Thank you KitchenAid!

My favorite part is that the cup that grinds the beans comes out of the electrical appliance part. It makes it so much easier to clean and handle!
