7-Speed Hand Mixer is rated 4.6702 out of 5 by 94.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hand mixer I've ever had! This mixer is a real workhorse and the red finish matches my kitchen. It mixes heavy cookie dough on a lower speed and the fluffiest whipped cream on high speed. Very reliable and, if something happens, Kitchenaid's customer service is there to help. I liked this mixer so much that I bought a matching Kitchenaid Food Processor. And Kitchenaid products are made in the USA!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the quietness Finally found a hand mixer with the necessary power to make mixing an easy process. Also very quiet as compared to my previous mixer. Would have given a higher rating for "Ease of Use" except for the reverse logic of moving the on/off switch left vs right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best mixer I've ever used! This blender is so smooth. The beaters are easy to insert. The speed transitions accurate and timed well. I love that it's available in a variety of colors. The mixer is so easy to clean and store. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mashes Potatoes! I bought this mixer because it's Kitchenaid and in Majestic Yellow, a color straight out of mom's 1950s kitchen. The beaters look a bit flimsy...they're not. They come in a little cloth bag to protect the finish on the mixer if you store it in its box as I do. Lots of reviews focus on meringues and such stuff as real cooks and bakers would use this for and neglect to mention the mashing of the potato. This mixer is so good at that I've taken to calling the process 'whacking' the potatoes. The L-R swivel for the power cord connection is genius. The height of the mixer when resting on its heels is tall enough to keep it over the bowl. And, no matter that you were mixing on high speed when you were interrupted. When you resume the mixer will start at its slowest speed so you're not spatter-coating the walls.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent as always I saw this on a shopping network and the woman representing KitchenAid hit a note with me. I have had the standard KitchenAid stand mixer for over 25 years and my hand mixers were always the cheap, noisy, underpowered ones. So, I decided to buy the hand mixer. I have been very pleased with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use Enjoy using this product. Kitchen Aid was good about the warranty from a previous one I had bought 6 months ago, replaced it w/the newer model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very interesting! I bought this mixer around Thanksgiving of 2013. I needed something for a quick mix. I also have an Artisan mixer but for some of my recipes I needed something quick and easy. This one is definitely good. It takes a bit getting used to the push button speed but it works well. I wish Kitchen Aid would come up with a better idea to store the cord. I really like the mixer and can recommend it to others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sturdy, but... The hand mixer itself is very well-made. It is sturdy and reminiscent of the quality of goods produced generations ago. The small wire-sized beaters do a good job mixing, though at first I was skeptical that they would be as effective as more traditional beaters. The only real problem is that the beaters, no matter how they are placed in the handmixer, hit one another at high speeds. Low speeds do not seem to be an issue, but high speeds are problematic. I should probably request a replacement, but I cannot find my original receipt.
