Best of Both Worlds - Convection Oven and Microwave
The design is modern yet looks at home in our retro Mid Century house. Who needs a second oven when the microwave serves double duty. We use the microwave as a second oven to bake things like pies while simultaneously roasting a chicken in the large oven. Fantastic utility and the convection option is great. Love the way you can set the temperature for whatever the recipe calls for and then when you select one of the "Easy Convect" options, the oven automatically calculates a new cook time length. Works incredibly well. No more subtraction gymnastics for us when trying to figure out the cook time in a convection oven. A bit of a Geek, I placed temp meters in different places in the oven while baking a sheet cake just to see how even the heat was. The temps never varied by more than a few degrees while on convection options. Very impressive. Love the rack options and of course the royal blue interior is great eye candy. We cook a lot in our house so buying a brand known for it performance and functionality was critical. We could have purchased any stove microwave, but we chose KitchenAid. Glad we did.

This is sleek stainless steel, and attractive in my kitchen
I went to buy a Bosch, but it was too square and would require cabinet to be cut out more. This one fit with only having to add a 3 inch board. I didn't plan on the kitchenaid because of the expense. But I learned that the microwave was also a toaster oven and I was able to have 2 for 1 then. Very unique. It works great for both processes. I do not have to use my big oven for small portions. It is as if I have a double oven and MW all in one section of my cabinet. So, my combo is actually 3 appliances in one. Kitchenaid heard the complaints that combo units have to be taken out completely if MW or oven fails. This is no longer the case. Now it is designed with features that allow the failed unit to be removed without taking out the whole big combo. Hopefully, I won't need any repairs. I am very pleased with this product and feel the extra cost of it, is worth it.

      Wife is cooking again
My wife hated the electric smooth top range we had, it did not cook things right. So, we bought a Kitchaid gas cook top, it is great. While at the store she said the microwave oven was taking too long, so we bought a Kitchenaid convection microwave. While it was being installed, she said the oven never did bake right. Cakes were lop sided, burnt on top and not quite done on the bottom. So back to the store and we bought a Kitchenaid convection wall oven. Did I mention that they are all stainless? The bottom line is that she is now cooking, and baking, and I am gaining weight. When Mom is happy everyone is happy and well fed. She has also said that using the convection features speeds up the cooking times. She likes all of the features/automatic stuff. I like the clock because I can see it at a distance. All in all these purchases was money well spent.

      A kitchen game changer!
I recently replaced an 8 year old built in oven with the Kitchenaid Architect series II. The oven is now a centerpiece in our kitchen from a visual perspective and for meal preparation ease. The oven simply looks great and the sleek stainless appearance compliments our kitchen wonderfully. On the performance side, I cant say enough about how quickly and evenly it cooks. Meal preparation time has been cut in half in many instances and our food retains way more moisture and flavor. I will never go back to non convection cooking. The oven also has an amazing feature that has made cooking with convection very simple for me. It translates regular cooking time into convection cooking so that you do not have to worry about over cooking as you learn the new faster durations. I give this oven a 10/10 and look forward to many years of great cooking ahead!

      Terrific double convection oven...
I will first qualify this by saying we've only had this unit for a month. My wife and I replaced 10 year old GE Profile appliance with new KitchenAid appliances. She absolutely LOVES this oven! If you've never used convection before, it's very easy to overcook. This has a terrific converter function that's both simple and intuitive. It also has 2 racks (one in each oven) that have ball-bearings in their tracks. They simply glide out and support up to 35ibs of weight. My wife is 5' tall so she thinks this is by far it's best feature. It makes the food very easy to access without having to lean in and, in her case, stand on her tipi-toes in the process. The oven has several advantages over others we looked at, including some more expensive units from Thermador so do your research. It's interior build quality and design of construction differ from many of the other products on the market which give it an advantage in performance. If you end up purchasing this unit, I'm sure you'll be as happy with it as we are.

      30 inch Double Wall oven
We purchased the Kitchenaid 30 inch Convection Double Wall oven to replace a "high end" oven that we installed previously when we remodeled our kitchen. This oven has been fantastic and is very easy to use. So far we are extremely pleased with the product.

      Love my new ovens!
We have had this oven for two months now and are very pleased with it. The 27" oven/microwave fit perfectly in the opening left by our former GE oven/microwave and it looks great. We haven't used the convection feature yet, but both the oven and microwave work well. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little uncertain about buying the oven because of people's complaints about the fan noise, but I am glad to say that the sound of the fan (that runs while the oven is heating and then until the oven has cooled down) is very minor and doesn't bother us at all. To speed up the cooling, I sometimes leave the oven door cracked open and it shuts off within a couple of minutes. My least favorite thing about the oven is the amount of time it takes to preheat, but it seems like a lot of newer ovens have this problem. My favorite things about the oven are the looks, inside and out, the great interior lighting that makes it so easy to tell how your food is cooking, and the three easy to slide racks inside. All in all, we are very pleased with our purchase.

      Works great!
Have only had this for a week now, but have been trying it out before preparing the big turkey dinner. Control panel is easy to understand / navigate between upper and lower oven settings. Temps between the ovens are consistent. Like how the setting of cook time start and check in time works. Baked cookies in both ovens last night - worked as expected from a timing and temp setting perspective.

      Beautiful and easy to use!
I have only owned this oven for two weeks but am totally in love with it! Love the large windows and of course the stainless steel. It is very user friendly and so far all features have worked with ease. With Thanksgiving approaching this oven will really be put to a test, watch out turkey Kitchenaid is going to welcome you like no other!

These ovens are very good in terms of operation and outstanding in terms of function and appearance.
After 30 years, our old Chambers dual oven gave up the ghost. We looked extensively for a replacement (Consumer Reports, on-line reviews, vendor web sites, and visits to local appliance dealer showrooms) and finally settled on the KitchenAid double oven in a black exterior as the best balance between cost, function, looks, and past product reliability experience. Since installing our ovens a month and a half ago, we have been very pleased with the results for baking/roasting breads, casseroles, meats, vegetables, etc. The ovens are also lovely to look at from a visual design perspective. The controls, indicators, timing functions, and visibility of the oven interiors during operation are excellent. Our only complaint is the relatively loud sound from the cooling fans during operation and lasting about 15 minutes after cooking is done. This noise can be off-putting if you eat adjacent to the kitchen cooking area.
