Workhorse!
My husband bought this as a surprise. He knew I had been wanting one for years! I have totally fallen in love. It is easy to use, makes quick work of any job I throw at it. I love how with the attachments it can replace so many appliances which saves alot of counter space.

Bought new but website change to Refurb
Purchased "Professional" mixer to replace similar model purchased at Costco. The older model was very noisy which prompted the purchase of the "Pro" mixer. One of the kids is happy to take the older model off my hands.
Wanted the Silver Pearl color but only saw that available with a Glass Bowl at the retailer I purchased the mixer from so settled for Nickle Pearl. When I registered it I had some difficulty with the site. It kept adding an "R" in front of the model number indicating it was a Refurbished mixer. After a few attempts I gave up so it is registered as a Refurbished model even though it is a new model.
KitchenAid changed the Splatter Guard to a one piece design. Still have my 2 piece shield that I can use. I prefer the Coated Beater and Dough Hook but these came with the Burnished ones. I can purchase the coated Beater and Dough Hook separately so will do that later.
I look forward to many years of reliable service.

Works great
I make 2 lb. loaves of bread several times a week. The lift top Kitchen Aid mixer started making little noises that wern't normal so I gave it away before I ruined it. This one works great, plenty of power. Only problem I faced was the pin that held the dough hook would slip out a little making it impossible to remove hook. I forced it out added a little "Lock Tight", replaced the pin and have had no further problems, many a loaf of bread later. Price can't be beat. Would surely buy iy again.

Awesome attachments
Can’t wait to use the pasta attachments! Have always made egg noodles with cutter that was antique hand-me-down. My mother bought the pasta attachments for her kitchen aid and told me it was much much easier and quicker. Excited about making them myself.
