Looks Great and Functions WellThe unit looks great in my kitchen renovation and functions very well. Controls are easy to reach and the slide out hood keeps it out of the way when not in use. Install for new construction should be straightforward. Mine was a replacement for existing cabinets and I had to rebuild the cabinet bottom as the install requires very precise dimensions for the receiving cutout. If you're considering this as a replacement, be sure to check the specs in the install manual to be sure it's possible and if you're not handy, you'll need to hire a professional for the install.

Quiet beautyBought this 2 months ago and was installed 1 month ago. There was A small installation problem I thought it would be just take out the old and put in the new . But it required some unexpected ductwork and cabinetry. Really works.

Love, Love, Love this hoodThis hood is sleek and modern. When the fan is on low, you really have to listen to hear it! It does a great job. The down side is the loss of cabinet space above the hood. We like the sleek look so much better than a big, gawky hood and all those mechanical parts that make the hood work have to go somewhere. I wouldn't want the other type of vent hood after having this one.

Great ProductWe purchased this appliance at the start of our kitchen reno. We did not have a 36 inch stove before and this was perfect for our modern design. The unit is sleek and modern with great features.
The only suggestion I would make for this unit is it currently fits between two cabinets. When you slide the top out to engage the light/fan, there is a potential for the cabinet doors to open into the side of the slide out hood. Rubber stops on the side of the hood will prevent scratching the cabinet doors.

Perfect ChoiceThis unit replaced a conventional over the range exhaust hood. We chose not to lower the cabinetry for installation as the appearance of direct mounting to the bottom of the cabinet where the old hood had been installed was excellent. Exhausting into the existing duct work was a breeze. We only had to add one row of tile to the top of the existing back-splash for a perfect appearance. We, and everyone who sees this unit and installation is very impressed. The function and quietness are superb.
