ExtendFresh™ Temperature Management System
KitchenAid® ExtendFresh™ Temperature Management System has two thermostats that react as if they were two separate systems. This provides true independent temperature control for the refrigerator and the freezer compartments and never forces you to make the choice between frozen milk or firm ice cream. Changes in temperatures are immediately identified with the help of dual sensors, triggering the fan. Cold air is forced from the freezer directly into the fresh food compartment, without affecting the freezer temperature.
ExtendFresh™ Door Air
Directs a flow of colder air inside the door to protect sensitive ingredients or quickly chills items without lowering the temperature inside your refrigerator. The baffle can be opened or closed as storage needs require.
