Your company wants me to buy a new bowl?! Why would I spend $ to fix something that could just as easily break again? Looking at the Ninja.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed! I spoke with a friend about my Kitchen Aid 13 cup Food Processor and she told me I could get the bowl replaced for $50 through this website. I have had my mixer for 27 years...No problems! A convection oven for two years. Fingers crossed because my FP is just over a year old... and the warranty has expired! $50 for a part that looks like it will break again. I am so disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I was so excited when I purchased this food processor, but it stopped working a little more than a year after my purchase. I finally got around to the website to order a new bowl, but found that everyone seems to have the same problem as I do. The bowl will no longer allow the motor to run. :( I love my other KitchenAid products, and I hate that this one seems to be a lemon for everyone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Problems with Bowl / Lid My husband bought this for me a while back (I honestly can't remember how long I've had it. Maybe a year.). I was so excited to get the larger version. It worked great for quite some time, but now the lid is falling apart. There's a piece that I think needs to go into the bowl to turn it on, but it's falling off. I was going to buy a new bowl (not happily), but now I'm seeing all the posts about problems with the bowls. I'm wondering if any changes have been made so that if I get a new bowl now, this won't happen again in a year. I don't want to have to replace the bowl annually. It's too expensive of a machine for that. Hoping to hear back so I can decide what options I have. Thanks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bowl not working I am writing this as I have been thinking I was the only one with this problem. I was able to put a plastic spoon in the lid trigger and the motor definitely works but I can't get it to work after using it twice the normal way with the lid on. I see the comments about emailing customer service for others, so I will do that now too.

Broke it doing frozen cheese used wrong blade kitchen aid replaced it with a new 14 cup with new spindle syestem thats a lot easier. at no cost to us . Free shipping both ways never a problem with the company all kitchen equipment now kitchenaid

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frustrated and Disappointed I am very frustrated with my food processor. I do not use it often but when I want to use it, I expect it to work. It seems like I am experiencing the same problem as everyone else. The bowl is not letting the machine turn on. I know it is locked but it will not tell the machine that it is safe to use. Kitchen Aid is usually dependable but now I'm not so sure. I spent too much money on this product for it not to work. Ugh!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed We have had the exact same problem as the other reviewers. At the price point we paid for this food processor, we shouldn't have this issue. I had a small appliance repair person look at ours and he said there's nothing wrong with the motor--the problem is that when the bowl is locked in place it isn't "telling" the motor that it's safely locked and can run. So frustrating!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DISAPPOINTED I purchased this food processor and within a few months the bowl would not stay put, we have to hold it for the processor to work. We thought the bowl was broken, but after reading other reviews it sounds like this product is not good. someone advised us to purchase a different food processor, but my husband is a KitchenAid fan all the way. Everything in our kitchen is KitchenAid, from the stand mixer to the double oven. We came to this site to order a new bowl. I am seriously thinking about purchasing a different brand food processor because I do not want to have to replace another bowl.
