Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oven does not function as advertised We bought this oven in December of 2013 and have had issues since its purchase. We are unable to use the self-cleaning cycle as it blows the thermal fuse and needs service. We are unable to use the Sabbath feature as it overheats and blows a fuse and needs service. We paid a lot of money for these features and the oven is not living up to what was promised and advertised. We have spoken to technical support and to the service company and we are told that a solution is forthcoming

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Kitchenaid wall oven kebs109bss Hello. We purchased a brand new Kitchenaid wall oven when we moved into our house June 2015. Last night, we were using the broiler, & it blew the thermal fuse. We ordered a replacement fuse. I’m afraid to self clean the oven, for fear that it will pop the fuse again. Our older model kitchenaid oven did the same exact thing. This should not be happening. Extremely dissatisfied with this kitchenaid appliance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware We moved 19 times in 30 years in the Navy and never had an oven problem. We remodelled our kitchen 6 years ago, installed this oven because it matched our other Kitchenaid products, and are now on our second problem, not covered by warranty. If you bake vegetables or any other food that generates humidity you will short out the temperature probe. You will get an ERR readout and not be able to bake. Seems like a major design flaw that Kitchenaid hasn't resolved. Ovens are supposed to be reliable. This model isn't.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from cleaning option We purchased this oven in 2014. Recently I used the cleaning cycle on the regular cleaning level. After the cycle was complete, I was unable to open the door. We were told by a repairman that the fan was unable to keep the oven cool enough in the cleaning cycle and that a thermal fuse in the oven was blown. I had two options, either replace the fan ($300) or not use the cycle in the future. We live in this house for only 6 months per year and the cleaning option has only been used three times. Reluctantly, I had the fan replaced, but just be aware that this occurred.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good even heating This came with a home purchase so I didn't do any research and select it. The convection baking setting is very helpful as you can cook at a lower temperature. Since the fan is circulating the air, the heat transfer is more effective. It has worked out fairly well as it provides good, even heat. The only issue is that it doesn't seem particularly speedy to pre-heat

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Less than 2 year life We purchased our house in April 2015. Based on paperwork left by previous owners, I believe this oven was installed in our home November 2014. It is now the first week of June 2016 and it hams been about a week since our oven would power on. We used it to prepare dinner one evening and turned it off. A little while later we noticed that the LCD clock on the oven wasn't lit. Nothing would turn on even after flipping the circuit breaker. From what I have been able to research online these ovens consistently blow fuses and then will not power up, especially if the self-clean feature is used. I was satisfied with this oven prior to this occurrence but did find the controls to be a little annoying due to lack of intuitiveness. I have never had an issue with any other oven that I have owned before and they were all much older. A quality (and expensive) product would not require service after less than two years of service. Cannot recommend.
