1500 Watt Convection Element

Circulates heat around the back of the oven to allow convection baking at temperatures up to 425°F.

Roast Function

Helps create the even results required for exceptional roasting by alternating traditional microwave cooking with convection cooking to surround food without hot spots.

Grill Function

Allows grilling results similar to a conventional oven. A rack that comes with the microwave gets heated during the grilling process to give meat a great sear that locks in flavor.

Additional Features

Takes the guesswork out of getting exceptional cooking from your microwave. The microwave will automatically adjust cooking time based on a menu of preprogrammed, menu-driven cycles.

13 1/2" Recessed Turntable

Helps evenly cook food by continually rotating throughout the cooking cycle. The turntable is sunken into the bottom of the microwave to maximize the capacity.

1.5 Cu. Ft. Capacity

This microwave oven has a large capacity that allows you to use it as a complement for your conventional oven.

Accepts 30- or 27-Inch Trim Kit

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Features I have now used this appliance for a couple of months. It is really easy to use, but takes much longer to bake than a regular oven and it really doesn't brown. Great microwave features.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can't turn off the annoying beeps! I bought this 2 years ago after my last one broke. It beeps a ridiculous amount of times, extremely loud, and you can't shut them off. After paying the $589 price tag, it came with a trim kit so hideous, we ended up keeping the old one on. Absolutely loved the other one! It had an Option button where you could turn off the sound of the beeps. This was great because we could make breakfast without waking the kids up. Now? Ha.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality of product has declined We owned an earlier generation of this microwave/convection oven. In 2014, the old one finally died. Being pleased with the old Kitchenaid, we purchased this one. Out of the box the first thing I noticed was the poorer quality of the materials as compared to the older Kitchenaid model. The stainless steel interior was thin and the finish was not as smooth, which ultimately made for more difficult cleaning. The door felt lighter and flimsy. Even the grates to elevate dishes in convection mode were flimsy. But it worked adequately, until just a few months back. I was cooking a pork loin on convection mode and the machine just stopped working. I removed the roast and tried microwave mode. No dice. I had an extended warranty but let it lapse last year as the machine was working. Bad move. The last microwave/convection from Kitchenaid lasted about 15 years versus three for this one. We bought a Kitchenaid glass cooktop, convection oven and dishwasher at the same time. All are still working, although I have had to have warranty repairs on the oven and cooktop.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Convection works poorly, microwave broke ~1 year I bought this because of the Kitchenaid name and the convection unit , thinking I could replace my toaster oven for some applications. Convection unit is extremely slow...not useful at all. Then about 13 months after we bought it, it stopped producing microwaves and heating. The very slow customer service inquiry said "sorry, out of warranty, you have to buy another". We won't and will replace with another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A beautiful appliance that works as it should. This microwave is built like a tank, is beautiful and works as expected. Which is perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good looks, size, weak power The microwave is good looking, and a nice size, with covection cooking feature that is useful. However it is far less powerful than our old kenmore which is a real downwer. Would not recommend this appliance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Last minute find...and what a find! My previous (non Kitchen Aid) microwave after an appropriate period of mourning, I began searching for a new one. I have to say I really liked the one I had, but it wasn't convection and I wanted the new one to be. I found this Kitchen Aid convection by chance at a local appliance store...and it was love at first was also the only convection microwave they had left in stock, but it was perfect. The stainless steel and black design is very stylish. While the manual is well-laid out and informative, this oven is really plug and play! The first night I made popcorn with just the touch of a button (my old unit required thought). A few days later I roasted brussel sprouts - faster and more economically than using my oven. It's great for heating coffee, baking egg muffins, or just looking pretty on the counter. A match made in heaven if you ask me!
