The plus side is that my wife picked out the color and it's far more welcome to remain on the countertop than the silver-gray model it replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimmykat from I love my mixer!!! I bought my mixer so I could make my Christmas cookies. It made my baking process so much easier!!! I am so happy that this stand mixer allowed me to easily mix all the different cookie recepies that my beloved grandmother once made! I have made cookies, cakes, loaves and muffins so far and used the wisk, flat beater and flex edge beater. I love the ease of changing the mixers.

After much consideration, I elected to replace with a 6-quart bowl lift. A month in, I have put it through its mixing, kneading and whipping paces and am confident I made the right choice. Every baker needs a Kitchen Aid stand mixer and my sentimental attachment to my first notwithstanding, my new model is even better.

I've never been able to make so many cookies at once! I'm excited to see if I can make a full batch of my family's cinnamon roll dough with it - my old mixer could only handle a half batch at a time.
