My only complaint is not with KitchenAid, but with cookware manufacturers. Pan type is critical (magnetic), but so is size. Pans are sold by the top dimension (8", 12", etc) but we need to know the bottom contact area. Some of my pans were either too large or too small for any of my "hubs". I am still looking for something to use with the bridge elements. This cooktop is easy to clean and heats up fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chef dejour from Almost perfect The induction cooktop is excellent. We were forced into it because there is no gas service on our street. We have always has gas cooktops and ranges. This is clean, cool, very fast, cooking and attractive. It’s also very easy to keep clean. The only thing that I wish we added was a top in which we could place the cookware in any position. That would have provided more versatility as we use large pans often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mimirlf from Very impressive induction cooktop!! This cooktop is amazing!! It heats quickly, cooks evenly, the settings are easy to use and the can be cleaned effortlessly. We were from an electric cooktop when we moved here 3 years ago, the prior 40 years were on a gas cooktop. This is an extreme improvement over the electric cooktop and equal to gas in performance. It’s safer than gas by far!! We love it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by TerriMaine from Sleek, fast, easy to clean I LOVE my new induction cooktop! I changed from an electric smoothtop range to this induction cooktop in my brand new kitchen remodel. The electric took forever to heat up and then cool down. The induction is instant! Both to heat food and then to have complete control over the temps. There is no comparison. My kids who use gas were even impressed. The cooktop is gorgeous in my island, and cleans up with cooktop cleaner and a paper towel in about two minutes. The only warning I will give is that when using the surface as a counter area (with the lock on the cooktop), be sure NOT to put items on the control panel area. It will begin beeping at you and take a few minutes to return to normal. Once I realized that, absolutely no problems. I will never go back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Roj427 from Works every bit as well as hoped The cooktop is quick, attractive, reliable and efficient. The only minor "flaw" is the outlines of the burners. They can be difficult to see with less than intense lighting. LIghter color outlines would have been better. (Mine is a black cooktop)
