Makes Great Coffee
I purchased this product for my Christmas present. Love it. My guest raved about the coffee. It tasted so much smoother. I had been using the Keurig. There is definitely a big difference. Try it with Texas Pecan coffee from Costco. Awesome!

Exceptionally Fantastic Coffee
The slow drop honestly does make a difference. I poured someone coffee that was even a few hours old and they commented on how it was a great coffee. I bought cheap grounds so the coffee maker made a huge difference.

Great Brewer!
I've had this for 2 months now, and brew about 4 pots per day. I have had zero problems and have zero complaints. I hate cold coffee, I even preheat my mug for my 1st. cup each day. This SCAA approved machine keeps my coffee hot. I followed the instructions and use medium brew. My coffee tastes great. I'm not saying that I'm a pro, but I roasted coffee proffessionaly and worked at 2 big name coffee shops for over 10 years.

Delicious brew
Very pleased with pour over method. Perfect capacity for my husband and myself. We dont waste coffee since this is 8 cup and not 12 cup capacity. Only drawback is no heat setting. Wish we could adjust heat to retain heat a bit longer. Cools down a little too soon.

Great coffee maker...but
Best coffee make and very easy to use. However, there is two or three things to improve. (A) the water level window. Hard to see the actual level (B) The controls do not allow you to delete and start again once you begin with the top button. Only way is to unplug, wait few minutes, then begin again. Controls are not easy to manage, you must be very careful. I can put with all these flaws because I really enjoy the end product, my first cup is a ritual for me.

Best coffee ever
Bought this coffee maker a month ago and I am so happy I did. It makes the best coffee of any noncommercial coffee maker I have tasted. It takes a little longer than other coffee makers, but boy is it worth the wait. Looks great on my counter, very modern. Was well packaged and shipped fast. Great purchase

Makes the best coffee!
I own a number of high end SCAA brewers (including Bonavita, Oxo, and Technivorm) and the Kitchenaid is my favorite for both style and coffee flavor. I think it brews the best coffee out of all of them. What sets this machine apart from my others that it heats the water to the ideal temp *before* brewing, so that there is no ramping up of brew temp during the first minute or so when the water hits the coffee grounds (which is the one major flaw of the Bonavita, Oxo, and Technivorm). I think the fact that this machine pre-heats the water before brewing contributes to the uniquely smooth, clean flavors of the coffee brewed on it.
As for the downsides, this machine does brew a slightly weaker pot of coffee than my other machines, BUT that can be remedied by just adding a bit more coffee (I dose about 9 to 9.5 grams/cup). Another downside is the somewhat flimsy construction. Kitchenaid could do better in this regard...
Overall, I love the thing. It is the best drip/pour over coffee maker currently on the market for brewing performance, IMHO.

A delicious brew
We purchased this coffee maker two months ago, and, after reading the instruction manual, got it up and running to perfection. It makes a fantastic cup of coffee.
The only drawback is the carafe: when it has eight cups of coffee, the first pour dribbles all over.

Superior flavored coffee maker
I have been using a pod system for years, and I am tired of all the waste they produce. I decided to go back to a drip machine. This makes the best coffee. No bitterness. Very hot. Set the timer and ready when you wake up. Easy!!!

Great coffee
I bought this as i didn’t want to buy the manual pourer. The system is great though it does requires descaling. I love having the taste of freshly ground coffee in the morning - so much I can take it black now with no creamer or sugar.
The system is a breeze to setup but make sure you have it away from cupboards as the top loading is a little tough to get at if it’s under a low cupboard.
Do not use this to keep your coffee hot, get it done and pour as it’s only meant to keep it warm for 30 min. What’s the use of a drip if your not going to drink it warm right after a brew.
The unit is nice as it’s silver tone and black match with anything. I have all silver and black appliances and this adds to the sleekness of my kitchen area.
