Decreases the time needed to get exceptional results similar to outdoor grilling. Two settings deliver intense, concentrated broiling for large or small quantities.

Temperature Probe (upper oven)

Allows accurate measurement of internal temperature of meats, poultry, and casseroles without having to open the oven door.

For years I hovered over my old ovens, never trusting the temperatures, often frustrated and disappointed in the results. Those days are over. Thank you KitchenAid. I do have two questions, however. Why do both oven lights go on tho' I am using only one oven. And why can I not set the clock to be constantly on as my kitchen time-keeper? I suppose it could be that I am almost ninety years old and am losing my touch with 'technology'. May 15, 2013
