Rated 5 out of 5 by Cinda This dishwasher is a dream! I would have replaced my Miele long ago if I knew this about KitchenAid. How did the interior get so tall! Room for big casserole dishes and pots and pans. Also has a heavy duty scrapper cycle that really works. Upper rack holds wine glasses and their stems securely in an upright position. Only minor flaw is the plastic separator piece that fits over the silverware basket is to flimsy to bear the weight of the silverware and stay in place. Tossed it after the second try. No problem as silverware stands in the basket fine without the separator piece. I love it. May 14, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tom57 This diswasher is very quiet and cleans very well. The cleaning cycle is a little longer than what I was used to, but the cleaning is very good. I've never found any dirty or baked on food when the cycle ends. The only issue I'm seeing, and I'm not sure if it was an istallation issue, the top rake slides out some times when I'm trying to unload the bottom shelf, and this can be a little annoying. I believe this is something with installer and not the machine. May 14, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by JA26 Does an excellent job cleaning the dishes and it's very quiet. Overall I love this dishwasher! The dishes and glasses come out so clean. It is so quiet sometimes I have to check to see if I remembered to turn it on! I love the controls on the top of the door, but they are very sensitive and sometimes I bump them when I'm putting something in or taking something out. Also, I really like the idea of the grids that can be put over the flatware, but they're a little flimsy and I find they sometimes come out of the grooves. Both are minor issues compared to my overall satisfaction. May 14, 2013

The only thing I don't like about it is the hanging slots for the cutlery basket don't always stay in place. Other than that I would buy it again. May 15, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Geezer Runs quiet, poor design features This dishwasher is very quiet and seems to be of solid construction. However, silverware slot lids on baskets will not stay in place...too easily come out of tracks when removing silverware and are awkward to set back in place- very annoying. Upper and lower racks are too uniform, so they do not readily accept varying sizes of dishes, bowls, cups, and glasses. Just about all of the cycles take too long, we now only use the shortest cycle, the one-hour cycle. Plastic vent on inside of door broke within first month. I regret making the decision to purchase this dishwasher based on sound rating....wish I had paid more attention to racks, loading features, and cycle times when comparing it with other brands before purchase. Rated 5 out of 5 by janp Works great. First dishwasher of this new design had a bad motor. Second had different motor and it is perfect. This is apparently a relatively new model. The first motor was flawed and the dealer replaced it with a new motor which was sent from the factory the next day. It was not at all like the first motor and has worked perfectly. I have always used KitchenAid appliances and knew that whatever went wrong it would be replaced immediately. In 40 years of using KitchenAid this is only the second time anything has not been perfect. Both times it was corrected immediatly. May 15, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by JT787 My Second Kitchenaid Dishwasher I can't imagine getting any other brand. This is my second dishwasher. I choose this brand again because my first experience with the Kitchenaid dishwasher was great. I had it for over 20 years with only a monor repair. Is model is very quiet, uses less water and does an excelent job cleaning the dishes. I have nothing negative to say about the perfomance. My only comment, and it is just an abservation, is that you must be mindful of not putting a tall dish near the side where the door opens with the soap. Apparently, most new dishwashers are designed this way. May 15, 2013
