Rated 5 out of 5 by Kim05 First Kitchen Aid Dishwasher Well this is my first Kitchen Aid dishwasher, always had a GE dishwaher and got to say Kitchen Aid quality and performance out beat GE, and I live on the 3rd Floor Condo, and I needed something that is very quiet so that my neighbor living below me does not hear my dishwasher. The design of Kitchen Aid dishwasher is what made me decide to buy this model. I had a GE and after the big recall on all of GE dishwasher I refuse to by another GE dishwasher, as the other one where I had lived the plastic inside the dishwasher started to bowed. The make of the new GE dishwasher was made very cheap. Also what really made me decide to by a Kitchen Aid dishwasher was that it was made in the USA, not over in China or another Country. I have a friend who has a Kitchen Aid dishwasher and his is over 25 years old and still running. So any if I have to replace any of my applicances it will be replace with a Kitchen Aid. I did have to replace a mixer which was a sunbean but I purchase a Kitchen Aid mixer and love it and how it is made plus the mixer is made in the USA. May 15, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by SallyG Excellent except for silverware holder. The dishwasher is excellent, except for the plastic silverware separating grids. I tried using them for a couple of weeks. They kept coming loose and the clean silverware needed to be picked up by the eating surface. I removed the grids and just love the machine, now. May 15, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by RobL5 Great Performance This dishwasher can really clean! I'm very pleased with the performance. It's very quiet and also has energy-efficient settings, which I appreciate. The one criticism I have is that the utensil holder does not have the same quality as the rest of the appliance. They have a plastic piece with "slots" into which the utensils are inserted. The mechanism used to flip them to the "up" or "down" position is not great. Still, I would recommend this dishwasher. May 15, 2013
