      13-cup food processor with ExactSlice
I love my processor. I can do more, do it faster and the appliance is easy to clean up. I leave it out on the counter all the time. I did have trouble getting the chopper blade out of the bowl in the beginning but after a few uses it hasn't been a problem. I really recommend it. I have been slowly changing out all my appliances to KitchenAid and have found it to be a reliable and durable brand.

great product, a few flaws in design
Overall, I am pleased with my kitchen aid food processor. There are a few design flaws that make the process more than annoying… for starters, the blades come with "finger holes" which make it easier to handle the sharp blade, BUT the holes also allow plenty of large chunks to pass through the blade into the bowl. I have had to sift through my grated veggies and cheeses to re-process. Even then, I can't get the smaller pieces to actually grate because they fall through the hole. There has to be another way to handle the blade than placing large holes in the middle of it. :) Second, when I tried making bread dough in this machine, the dough quickly became stuck in the machine as it worked its way through the center post and into the base. I will never try and make bread dough in this machine again, which is only sad because they advertised this feature. Other than that, its a very strong machine that gets the job done easily. I have always wanted this machine and I use it at least once a week.

Love love looooooove my food processor!!!!
This was a birthday gift from my boyfriend (which I had requested :) ) and I absolutely love it!!! I've always been very impressed and completely satisfied with my Kitchen-aid appliances which is why I wanted this particular model and wont settle for any other brand name appliance. I've had my kitchen aid mixer for about 10 yrs now with no issues at all. Love love looooooove my food processor!!!!

      So far so good
I have not had a food processor before, so I'm still getting to know how to use one. I have used it a few times for pie crust, pie filling, soup. I have not yet used the shredding or slicing disks but plan to in the next week. As far as I can tell, it seems to work perfectly and is fairly easy to clean.

This product lives up to my expectations
For years I always used and old 1 cup mini chopper made by another manufacturer and often times found it to be too small for my needs. I always wanted to buy a big one but the old one still worked so I would just deal with it. Then my sister bought me the Kitchen Aid 3.5 cup chopper and I just LOVE it. It's just the right size for medium and larger needs but not as gigantic as a food processor (which I have no room for in my small kitchen). I have been using it for 5 months now and love it. It's easy to clean and use. My only negative is that I wish the body had ridges or something on it because if my hands are wet it becomes harder to take off the cup from the unit to empty it. But all units are smooth so there's no other option out there.

      Works wonderfully!
I got this about 6 weeks ago as a birthday present, and I love it! My favorite thing to make in it is homemade hummus. Delicious! Its easy to use and easy to clean. I also appreciate the small size because I don't have a lot of counter or cabinet space in my kitchen. I highly recommend this food processor. Kitchen Aid never disappoints!

      Lots of features and accessories.
I have had the small KitchenAid food processor for several years and love it, but really needed a larger one. The new food processor has 2 bowls and many accessories. I call it my Killer food processor as it is extremely fast and does a fabulous job with little effort. I also have an old KitchenAid mixer which was given to me by a friend who had an appliance and repair store. When the person who brought it in for service did not want to pay to fix it, he and my son (who worked there) fixed it and gave it to me. I have had it at least 30 years and I have always called it my Killer mixer -- no comparison with the Sunbeam!! I am hooked on KitchenAid appliances.

      Solidly built performer!
I've had this food processor for about a month, and so far am very happy with it. It has a very solid build quality, unlike the more flimsy other-brand processor it replaced. I have used the chopping blade, mini bowl, slicing disc and shredding disc, and all have worked great. The adjustable feed tube is a nice feature. Operation is very quiet and fast. As other reviewers have written, as a safety feature the unit must be assembled properly, or it won't work. But having read the instructions and performed the assembly a few times, this is a non-issue. I would recommend this food processor

      Simple and effective
I've had this for about 4 months. Bought it to replace an 8 cup one who's plastic top broke at the connection that needs to happen to make it work (and that kitchenaid discontinued so I couldn't replace it). I researched both cuisinart and kitchenaid for some time before ultimately sticking with kitchenaid. 1) Do not be fooled, this food processor is massive! No complaints on my end, I feed a family of 6, with family and friends over often. When I need this, it's the perfect size. 2) I read the instructions and it clearly says do not secure the lid when not in use; this will prolong its life. It bothers me that kitchenaid knows there is a problem with those connection pieces breaking. I am very wary of this investment breaking in the future. I am careful yes, but I feel this is inevitable. 3) It's quiet enough. Just remember, it's a food processor. 4) The shredder attachment has two sizes, I like that option. For some, I'm sure it's necessary, for me it's just cool. 5) No problems with the blade I haven't used the slicer yet. 6) All the accessories come in a neat, compact pack away case. Helps keep my kitchen less cluttered. Overall, good quality kitchenaid product from the name we know and trust.

      Great product!
I purchased my kitchenaid food chopper a couple months ago and it has been great! Easily chops veggies and purees food for sauces, doughs, baking. It's small so doesn't do large batches but is great for small batches of anything you need to process. Easy to clean and re-assemble. Works great! I'd highly recommend it.
