I love this attachment for GRATING CHEESE.
It does a really fast job, and I have now taken to using it to do a big block of cheese for the begging of the week, and keeping it in a tupperware container for use in my fridge.
I also think it does a great job at doing carrots, especially for carrot cake/muffins, etc.
The attachments aren't great for a lot of softer foods, as it sort of mangles them, and using a mandolin, is kind of necessary for things like cucumbers or etc.
It does a really good job on prepping potato latkes, because it doesn't matter that it turns the potatoes and onions into a goopey mess because of their high water content.
