KitchenAid® 3-Speed Hand Blender is rated 4.7258 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ease of use and convenience I should have gotten one of these sooner. For years I've just cooled my soup/sauce down and scooped it into my food processor or blender, then poured it back into the pot and continued on. Now it's so much more convenient to just chop or puree everything in the existing pot. No huge clean up of the food processor/blender. This fantastic tool is very easy and simple to clean and use. It does a marvelous job, too. I was worried it wouldn't have the power and would "lug out" in the sauce. No problem with that. It has plenty of power. I haven't used the whip - so can't comment on that. Although, I didn't really purchase it for that purpose. Great product with lots of power and definitely gets the job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A well-designed and built hand blender I have gone through many hand blenders that eventually fail because of poor design and construction. I find the KitchenAid 3-Speed Hand Blender to be designed efficiency and easy of use. The hand motor unit is separate from the working utensils. This is a tremendous advantage at keeping the motor clean and allows for easier cleaning of the working utensils. The 3 speeds are very practical. The additional attachments besides the immersion blending blade are useful. the quality of construction is excellent. My only complaint is that the top of the chopping bowl has a pinion interface that is squeaky and and somewhat noisy during operation. The motor and chopping blade themselves are quite quiet. I would highly recommend this model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile combination! I bought this to replace another unit of a different brand that was failing and was surprised at the generous size of the chopper container. I also liked the shaker container for blending small amounts without having to clean a blender. Immersion blending is my new tool for soups and sauces without having to transfer to a blender and back to a pot. The storage bag is too small to be of practical value as you have to pack it just right to get everything in, but I didn't buy it for that so it is no big deal. Time will tell, but the quality seems to be consistent with other Kitchen Aid appliances I own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nifty little handblender I love everything about this product. The only downside I have found is that the chopping blade must be perfectly square with the base or else you can strip the housing for the chopping blade. Other than that, this is a great little kitchen tool. You can do a lot with it. I've have puréed mangoes and soups with this and grated Parmesan cheese in it. I've even made salsa. It is a great kitchen gadget to have. I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from chopper attachment This unit has a lot of nice features, unfortunately the blades in the chopper unit are not close enough to the bottom of the bowl to chop the contents finely, they tend to sit under the blades, only partially chopped. Other than that I do enjoy this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy to have one. I was tired of lugging out my old Cuisinart to puree Indian food. Opened this KitchenAid® 3-Speed Hand Blender on my Birthday and now I feel like every recipe in my box is new. Super easy for prep, and even easier for clean up. Happy to have one!
