Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Mixer is very powerful and quiet too. I LOVE my new KitchenAid 7 qt Commercial mixer!! I am a pastry chef working out of my home and I have gone through too many other mixers in the past 10 years. This mixer is very powerful as well as being quiet. I really appreciate the larger bowl size too; I don't have to worry whether whatever it is I am making will fit in the bowl or if it will bog down the motor. I have real peace of mind when I use this mixer because I know it will be able to handle whatever I use it for, from bread doughs, biscotti, batches of cookies or my heavy dough dog biscuits. I plan to get another to use while we are at our vacation home. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, the correct mixer, for my needs. This is my 3rd, and hopefully the last, Kitchen Aid mixer I'll ever need. I have been baking for over 40 years. I'm neither a chef nor a professional baker. I enjoy homemade better than anything commercially prepared. Everything just tastes better. I also know what went in. After having 2 professional model Kitchen Aid mixers, which performed admirably I finally decided to go commercial. What convinced me to make the switch was 1. The DC motor which runs cooler and 2. a call to KA sales support to discuss my requirements. I'm tough on my equipment and ask it to do nearly the impossible. This commercial mixer kneads 4-5 loaves of yeast bread with ease one batch after another. Sometimes I make 5 batches in a single day. This was impossible with the professional model. 2-3 was its limit and if I made consecutive batches it would overheat. The commercial model has a DC motor. It barely even gets warm. With the newer dough hook the dough has that same silky consistency every time. The dough hook, beater and whip are all stainless and dishwasher safe. Although they get cleaned many times during the day, I know, that at the end of a long day, I can, safely, put them in the dw without any concerns. I burned up my last 7 quart, professional mixer in just 2 years. I don't blame the mixer. I knew that I had used it to its full potential and then some. It was old before it's time. Like me it was old before its time. There's just no comparison between the performance of the processional and that of the commercial model. I was concerned as to whether I needed the additional performance in a mixer. After just a few uses I was convinced I had made the correct decision. The 11 wire whip mixes just the right amount of air into creaming butter, whipping cream or egg whites, and mixing liquids. The beater bar and the additional capacity give me the flexibility to mix the ingredients for four cakes at the same time. That alone impressed me I also have many of the attachments and use them constantly. I make: Bread (5 loaves a batch), Jerky (15# per batch), Sausage (25# per batch), Tomato sauce (a bushel at a time), Pasta, Slaw, Grated cheese, from scratch Sometimes this machine is running for hours at a time with very little downtime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent piece of equipment. We purchase this to replace a elderly 5 qt model. Sometimes, the 7 qt size is a bit larger than necessary, but we like the improvements in the controls and the protections that have been added to the control lever. It has the same quality of the previous model, hopefully it will have the same longevity. We purchased no accessories to this as the one we have from before still fit this model. Thank you for your consideration in avoiding the necessity to purchase new accessories when you purchase a new machine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good power There are some issues that I have with the mixer. The orange cord should be a difference color. I'm not sure if that is what it has to be for code reasons but the orange is awful if you leave toy appliance out for view. I constantly have a hard time getting the bowl on and off the stand. It should slip on and off easily. I have actually broke. Couple of fingernails trying to get in on. I also wish this model had come in other colors besides white. My husband looked everywhere online at Christmas time and could not find any other options. If I had my choice, a different color with NO orange cord and a bowl that slides on much easier!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love I received this product at Christmas from my daughters. I already have a smaller quantity Kitchen Aid that I received years ago. I absolutely love it. I use it often and depend on it. I feel like the Female Tim the Tool man. :) There isnt anything I cant make with my new Kitchen Aid. I have a small cookie company and the larger version allows me to produce larger batches. I have been very spoiled with both of these products. Love them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my favorite kitchen appliance!! I love my 7 quart Kitchenaid mixer! I am an avid baker and always double or triple my recipes. Now I can do that in one batch saving me lots of prep time. The bowl is the perfect size..large enough so that no ingredients fly out of the bowl..the mixer is powerful and works quickly to combine ingredients. I would recommend this model to anyone that enjoys baking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love my mixer I have been a private caterer for 30 plus years and a avid home chef. I have owned every model of the kitchen aid mixers and have loved all of them. But hands down this one ROCKS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! This is a real workhorse even with just the basic attachments. Over the past 20+ years I've bought almost every attachment available- and I use them. The only kitchen equipment I use more often is my favorite knife. If only there was a knife sharpener attachment...
