We have gone through many blenders before we bought this one. It is great!
It works well for everything that we have done. The kids especially like it for smoothies and because of the design there is no fear of them cutting themselves. Because of that I thought it would be difficult to clean... but add some water and a drop of soap liquefy... and it's nice and clean.

I had owned a sturdy but generic Hamilton Beach blender for about 8 years. It died when I began making leafy green smoothies. I was determined to find a new blender that would be up to the challenge presented by my new green diet interest. I read many reviews and watched nearly as many comparison videos online. However, by the I was ready to make my selection KitchenAid was an easy selection. The product provided the rare combination of power, reliability, features and price to make it one of the few purchases I endorse to my family and friends. One last thing, it looks great too!
