We have gone through many blenders before we bought this one. It is great!
It works well for everything that we have done. The kids especially like it for smoothies and because of the design there is no fear of them cutting themselves. Because of that I thought it would be difficult to clean... but add some water and a drop of soap liquefy... and it's nice and clean.

I bought this blender on the name of KitchenAid and I must say, I am not the least bit sorry for it. It is so easy to clean, and durable. it stands up to all that we put it through and we have not had any problems at all.
I love the built in blades. Clean up is a breeze, just add warm water and soap and turn it on for a bit and it cleans itself. I just remove the top and wash that. I don't have to worry that I might cut myself cleaning the blades.
