Rated 5 out of 5 by from No regrets about this purchase! I had owned a sturdy but generic Hamilton Beach blender for about 8 years. It died when I began making leafy green smoothies. I was determined to find a new blender that would be up to the challenge presented by my new green diet interest. I read many reviews and watched nearly as many comparison videos online. However, by the I was ready to make my selection KitchenAid was an easy selection. The product provided the rare combination of power, reliability, features and price to make it one of the few purchases I endorse to my family and friends. One last thing, it looks great too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous appliance! So glad I chose KitchenAid! When my old blender needed to be replaced I asked a few friends for recommendations as it had been awhile since I last researched blenders. Overwhelmingly the response was "Buy a KitchenAid and you won't have any regrets." So I did and they were right! I no longer cut up items before I blend them, I can throw ice cubes into the blender and it is a piece of cake to clean. It looks good too and is not too big so I leave it out on my counter, which allows me to use it more frequently. I attribute the use of my blender for the weight I have recently lost as I have been making more smoothies and soups since buying my KitchenAid blender.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This blender is versatile This blender can do more than just make a smoothie. We have shredded veggies (brussel sprouts, peppers) in it and it doesn't turn them to mush. It does, however, make a great smoothie and you can put all the ingredients at once unlike our old blender where you had to blend each ingredient singlely. I didn't get it an excellent because in the middle of making a banana, strawberry and pineapple smoothie the blades separated from the base of the pitcher, allowing the liquid to seep out the bottom of the pitcher. There was no way to tighten it. We had only used the blender a half dozen times at this point. KitchenAid is sending us a new pitcher but it's been over 2wks now i can't make my morning smoothie.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blender I bought this blender on the name of KitchenAid and I must say, I am not the least bit sorry for it. It is so easy to clean, and durable. it stands up to all that we put it through and we have not had any problems at all. I love the built in blades. Clean up is a breeze, just add warm water and soap and turn it on for a bit and it cleans itself. I just remove the top and wash that. I don't have to worry that I might cut myself cleaning the blades.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as great as I hoped I bought three of these recently, two for my home and one for my daughter, because we are making lots of protein smoothies these days. I'm disappointed that the blender is much noisier than I thought it would be. Also, even though I'm careful to soften frozen fruit before blending, the two blenders I've used (one I mainly bought for the pitcher) have both frozen up and refused to blend a couple of times. I like the look and the buttons and had high hopes that the blender would be able to make our smoothies. Guess I have to keep looking for the perfect blender.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value for this product, does exactly what we need it to do We went through several "cheaper" blenders, and finally decided we needed a "big kid" blender. I did extensive research and almost gave up because all the "big kid" blenders demanded too many C-Notes. I found this blender mentioned on a few blogs, as the absolute best you can get without breaking the bank. It blends up everything we need nicely, only costs around $100, and had some cool color choices too. Sure, its not as strong as my lawn mower Briggs and Stratton, but it makes my morning smoothies, I don't need it to chop up weeds, sticks, and dog doo-doo...Very happy with this purchase, I highly recommend!
