Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hidden Fuse Can't, for the life of me, find the fuse I blew. This is the fuse that blew when I fixed the door over a mechanical failure that prevented it from starting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from First, loud pops inside and now door handle broke We purchased this because we thought it would be a quality product. It does have some sweet features, one of them being their various quick touch features. Our first problems began within one year of installation. When reheating certain items there would be a LOUD pop accompanied by a spark. We always use microwave safe containers for reheating and cooking. It seems to occur most of the time when we are reheating spaghetti sauce. We had a repair person come over and he could not find anything wrong with it so we just keep using it and hoping it doesn't spark up or pop. Now, the door handle has broken. My husband was opening our microwave yesterday and the bottom part of the handle disentigrated so now we need to have it repaired or fix it ourselves. Not sure if it's something we should attempt on our own. We did not buy the extended warranty which seems to have been a mistake.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from KitchenAid appliances are not reliable I bout 4.5 years ago and now need to buy a replacement. Apparently there is an unfixable damage that keeps burning the main board. KitchenAid response was that we should have purchased the extended warranty. 4 out of our 5 kitchen appliances have broken since we got them, which says a lot about the quality and reliability of the product. So far, we total over $13,000 in repair costs and damaged caused by its faulty products. Thankfully we have a good homeowners insurance!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Many problems DO NOT recommend Had the motor on the turntable replaced within the first year which was covered by warranty. Just had to have the transformer replaced $282 (a third of the cost of the unit) it is only a year and a half old. Very disappointed in the product quality. I didn;t think I would ever say this but This will be my LAST Kitchenaid product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible I have never been sorrier about a purchase of an appliance. It is extremely noisy and doesn't heat well - takes 3 times as long to heat food as my smaller kenmore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoy our upgrade Picked this microwave up from a deal of the day at HD and it has not disappointed my family. The smart technology really made the popcorn popping much easier. We are still learning the convection part but it works. Easy to install and when I was missing a couple bolts, KitchenAid service sent out missing part without delay.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice microwave Just recently installed this microwave, still learning all the features. Working well so far. Love the melt/soften feature. Tried to convect bake in it which wasn't very successful. I need to try again to make sure I was following the directions properly. Overall, I'm pleased.
