12" Countertop Oven is rated 4.3071 out of 5 by 254.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great features but a short life expectancy! no hope to repair! I've enjoyed using this unit. I'm dismayed that it didn't last even a full 2 years before an upper element burned out. I'm further disappointed that the unit is considered "disposable". There aren't any replacement elements or control witched and such. The unit is not designed to be repaired. This might be normal for some. I believe this is poor "Green" thinking. As a Master Electrician, my unit is open on the bench and exchanging an element would be no big deal. I guess it's time to shop for a replacement unit. I'll check Consumer Reports and such first. If I can't rely on Kitchen Aid to do better than this, I probably won't buy them again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kitchen Aid Toaster Oven I recieved this oven as a wedding gift. I ended up having to exchange it after a month because the only fundtion that would work was the "toast" about 10 months later I had the same issue. This time called the Kichen Aid 1800 number (which ws very easy to work with) they sent me a new product and re-started the 1 year warrenty. Since then I have not had any issues with my third oven. I use it very regularly. My main complaint would be that "toast" has a seperate timer then the rest of the functions ( briol, bake and warm). It can get annoying when you are in a hurry and dont double check the settings. Also it says is gets up to 450 but i dont think is does

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cant read the dials We bought this counter top oven about 2 months ago, was a little more than we wanted to spend but we thought its a Kitchen Aid, the oven looked great, looked like it had great features, we brought it home, let me just tell you this we have a flashlight sitting next to it,because you can't read the dials, our 24 year old can't read the dials, any one that comes to our house can't read the dials! I should have just gone for the less expensive one, I guess live and learn Thanks Kithen Aid!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unexpected Early Demise after One Year - Never Delivered on it's Promises We purchased this model because it had features that would theoretically allow us to use one appliance for multiple kitchen tasks. It never met our expectations and has died after approximately a year of service. It accurately baked and broiled but seemed to take forever to reach an adequate heat level. Once it was at temp, the thermostat did a good job - kept a steady temp. For toast - forget it. A 4-5 minute toast cycle with unpredictable results is not what we expected. Regarding durability - that is a huge disappointment. The controls are dead - no pilot light. this happened after the oven was unplugged and moved to clean the counters. Plugged it back in and walked away. When we went to use it later it was dead. No blue light and no response. It looked good on the shelf at Target but never really delivered on its promises. I expected more from Kitchenaid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent design, functionality and quality. Typical KitchenAid product market positioning. Did not see the Convection Oven model available in Target, when I bought this one, or I would have purchased that? That said, this countertop oven does exactly what it claims, and is a great addition to my kitchen, and is my "go to" oven for most of my baking needs, and so much more efficient than the oven for that purpose. I am very happy with the usefulness and the ease and access of controls to use. Once I remembered to set the top knob to 'toast' rather than 'broil', to pre-heat the toaster, it was very straightforward to pre-heat the oven for any use LOL.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great oven, but just stopped working We received this gift for our wedding & it was great at first. Then, just about three weeks after we started using it, it just stopped working. That being said, Kitchenaid is a great company and their other products have worked amazingly. We returned it and got another one, so hopefully this time it will work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Toaster Oven Does the Job I like my KitchenAid toaster oven. It works well and the size is perfect to do most everything that I need for daily cooking. The only two things that I am not happy with is that the cooking seems a bit uneven between the front and back of oven (I have to be aware to turn items as they cook or toast) and that the toaster takes forever to toast something to a golden brown color. Now that I know those issues I am able to work with it but it keeps me from giving it the higher marks that I wish I could give.
