We have a few issues with the carafe leaking somewhere and we can not figure it out. But Kitchen Aid is replacing our carafe for us and that makes us very happy. Customer support is what it is all about.

Designed for ease of set up - keeps coffee hot for unbelieveably long time - looks good on the counter. Leaves our previous Cuisinart coffee makers in the dust. Thank you Kitchen Aid.

This is my third coffee maker since may & from what I'm experiencing lately it won't be my last. Everyone of them has leaked coffee all over place. The digital clock doesn't light up only half the time. The customer service is awesome, its the product that's terrible. I wish I never bought it.

I found using this coffee maker very frustrating and cumbersome. The stainless carafe cannot be filled from my refridgerator's filtered water spigot nor can the removeable water tank. This means I have to fill the water tank with a separate pitcher. The lid of the carafe is difficult to remove/attach and when trying to pour coffee, only a trickle streams out. The inner rim of the carafe is about an inch wide and doesn't allow me to pour out the last 1/4 cup of coffee without removing the lid, turning the whole carafe upside down and shaking it. Obviously, this cannot be done over the cup, it has to be done over the sink.
I also think the menu is more than it has to be.....keep it simple, KitchenAid!
I prefer my $39.99 Black & Decker coffeemaker!

I have never had a coffee pot perform so poorly. The coffee was great - when it made it in the pot. I have been struggling with this pot for a few months now, thinking I was doing something wrong. It is a coffee pot - not rocket science.
I am so tired of cleaning coffee off the counter top. If you do not put the carafe in exactly the right position - with handle all the way to the right, it leaks. Other times it overfill the basket and ours along the outside of the carafe. If you don't pour the first cup over the sink, that spills too. The coffee sits in the lid of the carafe. it is an epic fail on the part of Kitchenaid. I have never been so disappointed in a product.

We drink lots of coffee so we wanted a good pot and did research to see what would work best for us. One must was a thermal carafe so we settled on this one. I like the quietness of the perking of the coffee. We like the carafe but it is heavier than we would like. I have some arthritis and have a bit of trouble lifting it. It does keep the coffee warm but not as ho as I prefer. It is easy to fill and have ready so that anytime we want coffee we just put the pot back and hit the button. We did have a problem with the first pot we purchased but when I contacted the company they didn't hesitate and sent us a new pot, a label to return to problem pot and left me being a very happy customer.

This machine makes really good coffee, keeps it warm for hours,and is easy to clean.it will be in my kitchen for years.
