SURVIVORS WEEK - TUSCANY 2007

Cook for the CureŽ Survivors Week 2007 was a culinary excursion for ten breast cancer survivors who share a passion for cooking. Auctions were held nationwide to benefit Susan G. Komen for the CureŽ, and the winners enjoyed a week of Tuscan living and instruction at the prestigious Toscana Saporita Cooking School with Sandra Lotti. Pass the Plate" to Support Cook for the CureŽ and the Fight Against Breast Cancer

In order to widen participation in Cook for the CureŽ, KitchenAid, in cooperation with Villeroy & Boch, is introducing a new ceramic serving plate that reads "Cook for your friends. Cook for your family. Cook for the CureŽ." The plate, marked by a pink ribbon, is meant to be passed to friends and family along with a culinary specialty prepared by the giver. Once the plate is passed, the recipient is then asked to do the same. Every time the plate is passed and registered, KitchenAid will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen for the CureŽ.

KitchenAid Launches White Stand Mixer with Pink Trim Band as Part of Cook for the CureŽ

To encourage even more consumers to support the breast cancer movement through "Cook for the CureŽ, Presented by KitchenAid," the manufacturer is launching a new Ultra Power Stand Mixer that keeps pink, the symbol of breast cancer awareness, to a minimum. KitchenAid unveils the white Stand Mixer with a pink trim band this week; the product will be available at Target stores in plenty of time for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
